Today’s interview is with Travis Diener, a super-talented basketball player with a fascinating career. Diener played collegiately at Marquette University and was a member of the Golden Eagles team that reached the NCAA Tournament Final Four in 2003. In the NBA, he has played for the Orlando Magic, the Indiana Pacers, and the Portland Trailblazers. Diener has played for the Golden Eagles (a team primarily consisting of Marquette alumni) in The Basketball Tournament (TBT), an annual single-elimination winner-take-all tournament. During the 2020 TBT championship game against Sideline Cancer, Diener made the winning three-pointer that clinched the championship for the Golden Eagles, along with the tournament's $1 million prize. In this interview, Diener talks about developing the confidence required to not only get to the top of your game, but also being able to maintain.
