Descripción

This is my favorite book at the moment. My favorite lines so far Pg. 5 - animal consciousness does not extend beyond the given moment…animal pleasures remain close to sensation levels and avoid the perceptual Pg. 6 - focused consciousness by choice Pg. 12- hope clouds observation Pg. 39 - a good ruler has to learn his worlds language, that it’s different for every world….the language you don’t hear just with your ears Pg. 40 - the mystery of life isn’t a problem to solve but a reality to experience. Pg. 84 - every experience carries it’s lesson Pg. 92 - the proximity of a desirable thing tempts one to overindulgence Pg. 102 - the descriptions of Gurney on this page show exactly why I love this book dearly Pg. 112 - Paul held himself apart from the humor (this was my absolute favorite line in the entire book)
