Descripción

Grandview Church in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Message by Jeremy McQuoid, May 24, 2026. The Church at Its Best (Acts 2:42). Many Christians say that we need to return to the early church if we want our churches today to be healthy. Acts 2:42 is a summary verse that teaches us the kind of priorities the early church devoted themselves to, which made them such a powerful vehicle for the Holy Spirit. How does Grandview match up today? With all the things we could be doing as a church, what do we need to devote ourselves to in order to become a vehicle for the Spirit's power? Christian Unity, Generosity, and Leadership (Acts 4:32-37) - June 21, 2026

Grandview Church in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Message by Jon Cleland, June 21, 2026. Christian Unity, Generosity, and Leadership (Acts 4:32-37). This Sunday, we are continuing our series, The Spreading Flame, as we study Acts 4:32–37. This passage gives us a picture of what life looked like for the early church. Based in their belief in Christ’s resurrection and their union with Christ, the Christians also had unity with one another and were generous in how they cared for each other. This passage also shows us how belief in Christ is lived out by Christian leaders and hints at how different Christian communities need to function differently. Overall, this passage challenges us to ask – does my belief in Christ shape the way I think about and live in community with other Christians?
