Descripción

Stop waiting for something to happen someday in the future. Make that vague "someday" your "today." Jesus shows us in the story of the Persistent Widow that we should not wait passively, but actively pursue God in faith.

11 | There's Got to be More Than THIS

Ever looked at your financial situation and thought,  "There's got to be something more than this?"  That was my question almost 15 years ago as we were facing financial difficulty. It wasn't long after when my husband and I were taught about THE BLESSING in the Bible.  After a lot of hopeless looks at our finances beforehand, this new understanding gave life to us again. We took what the Bible said and applied it to our lives, believing God to supernaturally pay off bills and supply our needs.  My hope is through today's episode, you learn that God intended to bless His people. And, yes, this includes you!  There is a natural system we can tap into through wisdom and good stewardship, but there is also a SUPERNATURAL system we can tap into where God supernaturally supplies in ways we can't imagine and accelerates the work of our hands.

10 | What Biblical Prosperity is NOT

Have you been turned off by prosperity gospel preachers? Have you shut the door to God's involvement in your finances?  Howard L. Dayton said in Leadership Magazine, "...The Bible offers 500 verses on prayer, less than 500 on faith, but more than 2,000 verses on money and possessions." Jesus was concerned with our finances!  He knew it was heavy on our hearts and minds and something we all would deal as long as we're on earth.  So, if Jesus talked about money, we should talk about it!  Not only that, but the average American experiences over $100,000 worth of debt. That's the norm! If Jesus talked about it, and we're struggling with it, maybe we should see what the Bible has to say.  In this episode one of our new series, you'll learn what biblical prosperity IS NOT and what biblical prosperity IS.   *Spoiler alert*  It's not manipulative! It's not a get-rich-quick scheme. It's not laziness.
