KEY DISCUSSION POINTS: * SECURE FUNCTIONING: Why relationships are social contracts that require "governance." * THE AUTONOMIC NERVOUS SYSTEM: How our biological threat systems drive reflexive conflict. * THE LAW OF ENERGY CONSERVATION: Why we become "lazy" in long-term relationships and how to combat it. * INTERDEPENDENCE VS. AUTONOMY: Lessons on building a shared vision and purpose.   ABOUT DR. STAN TATKIN: Dr. Stan Tatkin is a clinician, researcher, and co-founder of the PACT Institute. He specializes in a psychobiological approach to couple therapy and serves as an assistant clinical professor at UCLA. Website: https://thepactinstitute.com/
