For this episode, Calla and Jenny talk to Donna and Dean Erickson. Donna is originally from the Sacramento area and grew up coming to Mission Springs with her family.  She later settled in Minnesota, where she and  Dean raised their family and Donna served as the executive producer and host of the award-winning cooking and crafting TV series Donna’s Day and wrote a weekly syndicated column. Despite the distance between Minnesota and California, she often returned for summers at Mission Springs. Now she and Dean are part of the Mission Springs leaseholder community after purchasing a cabin of their own. The ladies also spend a little time speaking about Mission Springs trees with Emerson Cobbley, currently a naturalist with the Outdoor Education program.
