Hello Hollis Podcast
In this episode of Hello Hollis, I’m out on a walk while traveling through England and Ireland with my husband and kids, reflecting on a phrase we use all the time: “once in a lifetime.” This trip is deeply meaningful, returning to places I once lived, introducing my children to people and experiences that shaped me, and it would be so easy to label it as a one-time, bucket-list moment. But the more I sit with it, the more I realize I don’t want it to be. I share why I’m intentionally shifting away from that kind of language and how calling something “once in a lifetime” can quietly limit what we believe is possible. Instead, I’m choosing to see this as something we get to create again, because this is the life I’m building my business around. This episode is a reminder that you’re allowed to want more of what you love, and that the goal isn’t rare, one-off moments, it’s creating a life where those experiences become part of your normal.
