Descripción

Hiya Gorgeous! We are two mid fifties friends who have lots to say, lots to share and lots to learn. On our first podcast we discuss what we have learned about ourselves after launching five kiddos into the world. We discuss our gold star moments as well as our momentws of 'dirty pain.' We hope our stories resonate with you and look forward to sharing more stories and learning about yours in the process. Season 2: Episode 19 - Liz Minella

Hiya Gorgeous  Listeners! We are so proud to share today’s podcast. Our guest is Liz Minella, who many of you may already know and follow on Instagram. I Liz Minnella is a new media strategist, digital organizer, and political fundraiser who helps politicians, organizations and everyday people understand and use their digital power.  She rose to prominence in the advocacy space following the Fourth of July mass shooting in Highland Park, when her Instagram posts helped translate outrage into clear, actionable steps that helped fuel the grassroots push to pass the Illinois Assault Weapons Ban. During the 2024 election cycle, Liz became a leading voice on how online influence actually moves voters.  She founded Chicago Women for Harris, served as Finance Co-Chair of Women for Harris, and raised tens of millions of dollars for the campaign.  She co-organized and emceed White Women: Answer the Call, a viral event that drew more than 200,000 viewers and crashed Zoom.  She led weekly Women Wednesdays for Harris digital organizing calls and field efforts in the battleground states.  Her work was featured on the front page of The New York Times and on CNN, highlighting how individuals were more successful at leveraging new media tools than most of the political establishment.   In 2025, she founded Connect Forward, an organization building a new media ecosystem for liberal voices. She also hosts Demfluenced, a podcast on the intersection of social media and politics. Season 2 - Episode 6 - Book Club - The Yoga of Self Love, the Sacred Path to Wholeness and Healing through Inner-Child Work

Hiya Gorgeous Listeners! Welcome to our first book club discussion. Our first book pic is "The Yoga of Self Love, the Sacred Path to Wholeness and Healing through Inner-Child Work." by Ramaa Krishnan. And today, lucky us, we were honored to discuss this inspiring and healing book with the author herself! Ramaa's bio: Ramaa.Krishnan, born and raised in India, aligned with a spiritual path and purpose from an early age. Her husband's career brought their family to the US in 1998 and she soon began sharing her perspectives and practices with others, helping them manage stress and live their lives more consciously. In 2006 she founded Full Bloomed Lotus Center for Self-Awareness, renting a studio space and expanding her circle. A difficult period in her own life had Ramaa digging deeper, uncovering old forgotten wounds, and exploring a deeper faith, beyond traditional practices. During the pandemic she closed the studio, moved her classes online and used the time to write her first book The Yoga of Self-Love: The Sacred Path to Wholeness and Healing through Inner-Child Work." The book is a step-by-step guide to self-discovery and healing, underscoring the power of reshaping our narratives, and affirming that while we cannot alter our past, we can find the freedom to change how we perceive it. Ramaa continues to be a dedicated advocate for conscious living, guiding others on a journey toward a more mindful, intentional, and fulfilling life Get Ramaa’s book The Yoga of Self Love, The Sacred Path to Wholeness and Healing through Inner Child [https://a.co/d/b9AJcPu] Free Zoom Event!
