Joey shares his journey into the music industry from meeting Gottmik and four other top queens from Drag Race. Lisa Tumminello of Big Brothers Big Sisters BIGPride program of Broward County, joins LGBTQ+ Council President, Todd Delmay, in a sit-down conversation at Anniversary Park in Downtown Hollywood for the upcoming My Hollywood Pride Festival. https://myhollywoodpride.com Lisa is a board member of the council and has been organizing the youth zone activity that will take place at Anniversary Park on the festival’s inauguration on January 22, 2022. The youth will take part in creating a mural on a large canvas where they’ll express their pride with the support of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. https://www.bbbsbroward.org/big-pride/ The Art & Cultural Center of Hollywood is also going to set up an arts & crafts section where the kids are going to be able to make flags and friendship bracelets. [15:42 min.] My Hollywood Pride is also celebrating that Hollywood has achieved a 100 score on what's called the Municipal Equality Index Score. “When we first started looking at this a few years ago, we were at a 49 out of 100 and it wasn't that Hollywood wasn't an accepting place, but we recognize that we weren't making our voices heard and saying that this was something important to us. We helped raise that score from 49 to 70 to 83 and this year to 100. My Hollywood Pride Kick-off at Ocean Alley Restaurant and Beach Bar

The Hollywood LGBTQ+ Council kicks off My Hollywood Pride 2022 at the Ocean Alley Restaurant and Beach Bar on beautiful Hollywood Beach, Florida. Todd Delmay & Franchesca D’Amore share what this inaugural pride means for our community. The My Hollywood Pride Street Festival is set to bring in great entertainment from local artists, open space for vendors to support the kickoff event, educational conversations and much more. This will be an opportunity for those who are not LGBTQ+ who live in Hollywood to experience the humanity of our community. Todd Delmay is President of the Hollywood LGBTQ+ Council and candidate for District 100 State Representative & is joined by fellow LGBTQ+ Board Member, Franchesca D’Amore, in a short conversation about merging communities and how we all benefit.
