Welcome to the very first episode of the Honorably ReCharged Podcast.  For those who may not know us, Honorably ReCharged is a nonprofit dedicated to serving those who served us. Our core mission is to provide support for veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We focus on direct on-the-ground support like our Food Programs, where we meet people exactly where they are, whether that's walking with them to a local restaurant to pay for their meal or hand-delivering bulk food and necessities. We also facilitate donations through gift cards and our online wish lists to ensure our veterans have access to vital hygiene and food items. We see the statistics every day. Tens of thousands of veterans experiencing homelessness across the country, many suffering with mental illness, and over a million more at risk. But behind every one of those numbers is a person, an American hero who, for whatever reason, has been left on the streets. And that is why we started this podcast.
