Safe Space
In this deeply personal episode, I open up about one of the hardest seasons of my life—watching my mom battle cancer—and how martial arts became more than just a practice. It became my refuge. Teaching gave me purpose when I felt lost, and the kids I showed up for every day unknowingly saved me right back. Through grief, their light helped me find mine. This is a story about finding healing in showing up, even when you’re hurting.
Even Blackbelts Fall
We all fall. Sometimes in public. Sometimes quietly, where no one can see. This week’s episode of I Don’t Know Who I’m Talking To is about what happens after the fall. It’s about the quiet strength it takes to rise again and how, with practice, getting back up becomes more than instinct. It becomes part of who you are. Not just in your body but in your spirit. Whether you’ve ever trained in martial arts or not, this episode is for anyone learning to stand back up again and again.

Tune in as we explore how friendships, self-growth, and the support of those around us can bring just as much joy and fulfillment as any romantic relationship. 💛
