Safe Space

In this deeply personal episode, I open up about one of the hardest seasons of my life—watching my mom battle cancer—and how martial arts became more than just a practice. It became my refuge. Teaching gave me purpose when I felt lost, and the kids I showed up for every day unknowingly saved me right back. Through grief, their light helped me find mine. This is a story about finding healing in showing up, even when you’re hurting.
