Descripción

in today's episode, I decided to try a new way of recording and talk freely with no plan or points. with the school year coming to an end, the college application process has become more and more prominent, consuming most of my thoughts. I know how stressful the process can be and so I wanted to speak on what I have observed and give some tips on how to have a positive mindset. I also touch on a lot of other important topics such as relationships and how important self love is, as well as summer fashion and beauty standards that come with it.

politics

more than ever, I feel like politics has been increasingly relevant in women’s rights. we have seen a major shift in how women are viewed in our society through the overturning of Roe v Wade and the ever present pink tax still being placed on women’s hygiene items. anti-transgender legislation is being passed in almost every state in the US and people still don't understand how big of a problem this really is. Hillary Clinton said, “Women’s rights are human rights” and I think this is so important for people to think about as they listen to my podcast. if there is one takeaway you carry with you after listening, let it be that you have the voice and opportunity to make a true difference. educate yourself, understand how and why your voice is so important, and how you can use it to fight and create change.
