Descripción

For our first ever live episode, recorded at Dublin Fringe Festival in Smock Alley Theatre, Gaff and Becks are joined by writer and cultural commentator Fionnuala Jay, and performer and playwright Padraig Wilson McCarthy. Together, they explore the theme of childhood. They speak to the moments that make us, the people we carry with us and the stories we return to when we try to understand who we are. There’s laughter, honesty, and that special kind of nostalgia that only comes when a room full of people who together are brought back to their own memories through the guest's live conversations. Credits Sound Design & Edit — Cian Judge Music — Stephen Markham Produced by — Rebekah Guilar Artwork — Sam O’Keeffe Hosted by — Ciaran Gaffney & Rebekah Guilar Sponsored by Mubi Owned by Seanchoíche Ltd. ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast. S2 Episode 6: In Laura Jardine Patterson and Rosabel Crean's Shoes

In this episode of In Their Shoes, guests Laura Jardine Patterson and Rosabel Crean join hosts Gaff and Becks to explore the theme of belonging. Together they reflect on what it means to build a life far from where you’re from and why Beirut, a city often misunderstood or overlooked, has become a place they now call home. Through stories of community, work life and finding meaning in the everyday, they show us how belonging isn’t always about where you’re born.
