Godwin Aruwayo of Naija FM 102. 7 Lagos has done it all - print, radio, TV and even the big screen. Starting out as a writer for the Sun Newspaper, he moved on to sports vision working as a sports producer and anchor, hosting Nigeria's first Pidgin English sports show on radio at AIM group's Cool FM 96.9 Lagos and Wazobia FM 94.1 Lagos. He also presented on Sports yarn TV on the now defunct HiTV. From his time on Wazobia FM, he moved to Naija FM 102.7 and was the first presenter on the station. He starred in the movie “Superstar” released in 2015. He is a recurring guest on SuperSport on DSTV. As a radio presenter, he has managed to build his success on being a hard worker and earning the trust of his listeners. His stance on national issues in Nigeria have actually gotten him some threats from the Department of State Services and the Nigerian government. He talks about being stifled by regulatory bodies and the government. He shares the recipes for his success and the evolution of the industry and what more can be done.
