Kieran Block - The Ups and Downs of Almost Dying

On this week's episode, we have Kieran Block - Canadian National Sledge Hockey Team member, Medicine Hat Tigers alumni, and teacher. Kieran was involved in a catastrophic cliff jumping accident in 2007 that saw him have to completely rebuild his leg, and relearn everything from walking to playing the sport that he loves. We discuss the book that he co-authored recounting his experiences during the injury and recovery titled "The Ups and Downs of Almost Dying", and his overcoming of a life changing injury. "I accepted that I was disabled, but I accepted that my disability didn't define me."
