WWE PG Era Series 17 - Summerslam 2008

Summerslam 2008 is only of my favorite PPVs I have watched in this series. You know it’s going to be an interesting show when the Raw and Smackdown main events do not involve the world champions. Edge and Undertaker fought in a Hell in a Cell match. Batista took on John Cena. CM Punk defended his world title against JBL. Triple H faced the great Khalil for the WWE title. Shawn Michaels was scheduled to make an announcement on his career. Chris Jericho foiled those plans. Much more on the Summerslam card. Also cover several releases and signings that happened during this time in 2008.

Weekly review of all things WWE. Another week of Roman Reigns getting out through the announce table by Jacob Fatu. Sol Ruca vs Iyo and Gunther vs Royce Keys were our top matches of the week. SNME card is starting to be filled out. World Tag and IC titles will be on the line. Rhea, Charlotte, and Alexa will take on Jade, B-Fab, and Michin. Roman Reigns defended the World title against Jacob Fatu. Roman may have won the match but he was not the one left standing after. Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins finally have their grudge match with Bron going over. Trick Williams successfully defends the U.S title against Sami Zayn. Danhausen and Minihausen defeat Kit Wilson and The Miz. John Cena announces the John Cena Classic. WWE Weekly Review (33)- Wrestlemania 42 Recap and Post WM Releases

Weekly review of all things WWE. Wrestlemania 42 has concluded. Roman Reigns and CM Punk had one of the best Wrestlemania matches of all time. Some may even say it saved WM. IC title ladder match was another major highlight for the night. Randy Orton RKO Pat McAfee. Shortly after Cody Rhodes defeated Randy Orton ending one of the most controversial storylines in recent memory. Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar. After the match Brock left his gloves and boots in the ring. Is this the end for Brock? Around 30 wrestlers have been either released or mutually parted ways since WM concluded. Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Kairi Sane, Alister Black, and Wyatt Sicks to name a few.

WWE PG Era Series 16 - Great American Bash 2008

Great American Bash 2008 is the last PPV before the PG era officially begins. John Cena and JBL will fight in a parking lot brawl. WWE champion Triple H will face Edge fresh off Edge’s wedding disaster. CM Punk faces Batista for the World Heavyweight title. Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho have another grudge match. The first ever Divas champion will be crowned between Michelle McCool and Natalya. Also on the show WWE tag, U.S, and ECW title matches.
