God’s original design was life-giving and plant-based, but after sin and the flood, He expanded humanity’s diet to include meat—with clear spiritual boundaries. This act of worship leads to a powerful shift in God’s response toward humanity. * The Curse on the Ground Is Lifted In Genesis 8, God declares that He will no longer curse the ground for man’s sake—a reversal of what happened after Adam and Eve’s fall. This is a major blessing that affects how humanity lives and eats. * God Expands the Human Diet In Genesis 9, for the first time in Scripture, God permits humans to eat meat in addition to vegetation.
