We are Back! Season Two is Coming!!

Jesus Talks is back—and something new is coming. In this short bonus episode, we’re sharing a quick update and a big vision for Season Two. We’re preparing a new season filled with honest conversations about faith, doubt, burnout, mental health, church hurt, calling, and what it really looks like to follow Jesus in everyday life. But this next season isn’t just about new episodes—it’s about building community. We want to hear from you. What conversations do you feel the church needs to be having? What questions have you wrestled with? What stories need to be told? Season Two is on the way, and we can’t wait to continue the conversation with you. If Jesus Talks has encouraged you, help us spread the word by sharing the podcast, leaving a review, and inviting a friend to listen. Make sure to follow the show so you don’t miss what’s coming next. Season Two is coming soon. Stay tuned.

#13 Should Christians Make New Year Resolutions?

Benji and Amy are back to Kick of the New Year, and New Season of Jesus Talks. As we have turned the page of the new year, many contemplate what went well and what didn't and it is a popular idea to make resolutions going into the new year. Things like losing weight, working less or more, eating healthier, saving money and many other things. As Christians some wander should we make resolutions. Benji and Amy explore the concepts of making resolutions and include some scripture that helps us to evaluate biblical guidance when working toward making improvements. Improvements are not a bad thing but what we need to remember is Jesus never asked up to make improvements; he asked us to surrender fully. That is where it needs to start.
