Descripción

I remember It was almost impossible for me to accept that not everyone can like you. If there’s someone who likes you for no specific reason, there must be someone who dislikes you for no specific reason. Now come to think of it, I guess I was trying to fill the void of my weak point by getting validations from other people.  I wanted to share this insight, my journey of me getting better and getting more comfortable with accepting that people will absolutely dislike me without any reason. Again, thanks for listening to this episode, hope I’ll see u again next week too!

The importance of being vulnerable

In the book ( by Garbor Maté) I’m reading recently, it talked about the reason why people should be vulnerable and why it’s essential to let your kids vulnerable. Also letting them know how to handle that moment of being vulnerable. Basically it conversely emphasis a disastrous outcome of if you don’t let your kid to be vulnerable, “they will cease to relate to life as infinite possibility, to themselves as boundless potential, and to the world as a welcoming and nurturing arena for their self-expression”  and by reading this part, I realised that every greatest growth and greatest improvement came from me accepting the fact that I’m feeling and AM vulnerable and made an action to rectify and resolve the current situation where I felt vulnerable. Because like the book says, “nothing in Nature ‘becomes itself’ without being vulnerable“
