Live Crazy Dave Kids Show "Lost Episode" from 2004 with Jokes & Fire Safety, to Celebrate Kids Radio Mania's 25th Anniversary

For the 25th anniversary of regular Kids Radio Mania broadcasts we've unearthed the oldest known complete Crazy Dave broadcast, which had been lost since it aired live in 2004! This 90-minute audio show is the first time it has been heard in 22 years, and the first time any complete "unedited" Crazy Dave show has been posted online in 15 years.The theme of "Stop, Drop, and Laugh" is a combination of kids talking about fire safety and telling jokes in order to win prizes. It was done live and includes a lot of guests and callers, as well as a number of newer funny pretend ads that haven't been heard in twenty years. There were just two minor edits for technical issues and note that none of the website references are current or active.Kids Radio Mania's all-weekend broadcasting started on March 31, 2001, and shifted totally to YouTube in 2026 after KDPS radio was sold by the Des Moines Public Schools.
