After missing workouts, delaying an episode, navigating divorce, furnishing a new home, and trying to hold myself together through one of the biggest transitions of my life, I've been reminded of something running has taught me over and over again... Not every setback requires a restart. Training plans are written in pencil. Life is too. In this episode, we're talking about shame, self-trust, adjustment, emotional regulation, and why growth isn't about being perfect. It's about learning how to keep showing up without abandoning yourself in the process.

What It Costs To Be Honest

This episode is about honesty. The kind we avoid, the kind we soften, and the kind that eventually finds us anyway. I talk about what it looks like to stop lying to yourself in running, in life, and in the way we show up online. The difference between how things feel and what's actually true. The cost of protecting a version of yourself that no longer fits. And what happens when you finally face something you know for a while. This one is real-time. Not polished. Not wrapped up neatly. I almost didn't record this episode. Not because I don't care, but because everything in my life feels heavy right now. And I don't have the clarity I'm used to bringing into this space. But instead of waiting until I feel better or have it all figured out, I'll do it sad. This episode is a real time check in. No polished message, no perfectly packaged takeaway...just me being honest about what it looks like to keep going when things feel uncertain. I talk about what this runDisney season has meant to me, briefly, the highs, the setbacks, and the community that's keeping me grounded as I head into Springtime Surprise Weekend at Walt Disney World Resort. And more than anything I came back to this: Do it scared. Do it sad. Do it when you don't know. Because sometimes the win isn't having the answers...it's not disappearing.
