The church is the only organization tasked with carrying the message of salvation to a lost world, yet we often lack the urgency needed for this mission. Jesus' parable of the great supper in Luke 14 shows us that when people reject the gospel invitation, we shouldn't give up but become more aggressive in reaching others. Too many Christians approach evangelism timidly, asking rather than confidently telling people they need Jesus. If every Christian won just one person to Christ each year, the entire world could be reached within 30 years. We must stop making excuses and start approaching soul winning with the urgency that eternal consequences demand.
