Dupuytren’s Contracture is a disease of the hands affecting fibrous connective tissue beneath our skin called fascia. This progressive process can tighten the tendons, resulting in flexion of the fingers. Dr. Joseph Ravalese, III, radiation oncologist at The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center discusses how radiation therapy may be a treatment option for patients with Dupuytren’s Contracture.
