Descripción

In this episode of Lett’s Talk, I open up about growing up Lao American with a Buddhist background while also exploring Christianity. I share the parts of religion I’ve struggled with — especially rituals, expectations, and trying to understand traditions that didn’t always fully make sense to me growing up. Now that I’m older, I’ve started doing my own research to reconnect with my roots while also figuring out what faith looks like for me living in America. Does choosing not to attend temple or church make someone a bad person? This episode isn’t about proving which religion is right or wrong. It’s about respect, kindness, culture, and the personal journey many of us go through when trying to understand faith. Let’s talk about it.

Stuck in the Middle of Friendships

Friendships can get complicated… especially when everyone in the same circle doesn’t share the same relationships. In this episode of Lett’s Talk, I open up about what it’s like being stuck in the middle of mutual friendships — when loyalty, trust, and communication start to get messy. What happens when you try to protect a friend, but it ends up changing the entire dynamic of the group? I also talk about venting, respecting people’s stories, learning how tone and delivery matter in hard conversations, and realizing that sometimes the friendships we thought were solid… shift over time. Adult friendships aren’t always simple — but they do teach us a lot about boundaries, loyalty, and protecting our peace. Let’s talk about it.
