Sol Messiah

From Atlanta sidewalks to global stages, Sol Messiah’s story is Hip Hop in motion. Starting as a b-boy and earning stripes with the legendary Rock Steady Crew in NYC, he absorbed the culture at its source—then flipped that energy into DJing, production, and a lifelong dedication to the craft. Mentored by Dallas Austin, Messiah helped shape hits for icons like TLC, Madonna, Monica, and Boyz II Men, while building his own name through classic mixtapes and a deep, versatile catalog that stretches from Chamillionaire to Dead Prez. But this isn’t just a résumé—it’s a journey still unfolding. From his powerful creative partnership with Sa-Roc to his latest project GOD CMPLX, Sol Messiah continues to push the sound forward, bringing together elite lyricists for music that hits hard and thinks deeper. This episode of Library Presents: Discography Autobiography is Sol Messiah telling his story through the music—breaking down the evolution, the collaborations, and the culture that drives it all.

episode Breeze Brewin artwork

Breeze Brewin

Breeze Brewin is a Bronx, NY–based rapper, producer, and educator, best known as a member of the underground hip-hop group Juggaknots. Emerging in the ’90s indie scene, he built a reputation for razor-sharp lyricism, layered storytelling, and a cerebral style that helped define a generation of underground rap. He also brought narrative hip-hop to life as the voice of Tariq on the cult classic A Prince Among Thieves, blending music and storytelling in a groundbreaking way. Beyond the mic, Brewin has worked as a teacher, bringing that same depth and creativity into the classroom, while continuing to evolve artistically with his solo debut Hindsight in 2021. This episode of Library Presents: Discography Autobiography dives into Breeze’s journey through his own catalog—unpacking the music, the mindset, and the purpose driving it all.
