Understand this child of God, a Christian does not have two kinds of life. You do not have both the natural human life and eternal life but only eternal life. Life is not a body but the spirit, the life of the spirit rather sustains the body. This is why the body, flesh, bones and blood without the spirit is dead. The fact that you still have a body and blood doesn’t mean you have two lives. Stop the fear

2 Corinthians 2:11 KJV Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. When the Bible says, “Neither give place to the devil.....Ephesians 4:27KJV”, it thus suggest that there are things that exposes one to satanic attacks and influences being it pestilences, other forms of unrighteousness or any other. The Holy Scripture says, “In righteousness shalt thou be established; thou shalt be far from oppression, for thou shalt not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near thee.... Isaiah 54:14KJV” Its very important that Christians understand what God is saying. How righteousness operates to protect you is by eliminating fear and restoring one’s confidence. He says, “thou shalt be far from oppression, because thou shalt not fear”. Hence oppression is tied to fear. No wonder, the Apostle John says “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.....1 John 4:18KJV” Fear indeed brings torments. Cast out fear from your life and home. Never entertain even an ounce of fear. Fear is an attack and when you find yourself fearing, pray. The same way God operates through faith, satan operates through fear. Fear is the reverse of faith. Fear is having faith in the ability of satan. You fear because you believe satan has the ability to destroy you and your loved ones. This is why fear is a grave sin before God. Fear is a spit on God’s face, its undermining God’s love and power. Never fear. How will you men feel when your wife tells you that another man is better and greater than you? Why don’t they understand this when it comes to God? Fear is you believing in the ability of the devil than the power of God and that incite Godly jealousy “Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”?......James 4:5KJV” Many Christians have not been made to understand the gravity of the sin of fear. Fear is very dangerous. See things from God’s angle. It will be a post tribulation rapture

1 Thessalonians 4:16KJV For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. There are Christian denominations and well-known men of God, who have advanced the message of a pretribulation rapture, a message that says that the church will be raptured before the great tribulation. They mean that the church won’t be on earth during the great tribulation because they will be raptured before then. They quote Scriptures from Revelations and all other parts of the Bible to support this claim. I wish they were right but they are not. When I teach post tribulation rapture, it is not because I want it to be so but its because this is what the Word of God says. And what we do is to submit ourselves to whatever His plan is because He is God, the decider not us. There are many ways I can prove to you that the rapture is post tribulation but this morning I want to show a simple one of what the Holy Spirit taught and showed me. The Scripture they refer to, as a pretribulation rapture is our introductory Scripture, where Paul says, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” This is gleaned from the first letter that Paul the Apostle wrote to the church at Thessalonica. Now if you believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, what you are saying is that you will come from heaven with the Lord on that day He comes to execute judgment on the earth, a day popularly known as the Day of the Lord. This means that what they call the first flight church wont be on earth on that Day of the Lord because based on their teaching, they come with Jesus from Heaven on that day to execute vengeance on the anti-christ and his army but lets observe what Paul goes on to tell this same people regarding the Day of the Lord. Mind you, we are talking about the same letter and the same people. We want to observe what Paul goes on to tell the same Christians that he has just in some minutes told, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord”. Paul goes on to say to them, “But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape..... 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 KJV” Paul tells them that the day of the Lord will come upon the world as a thief in the night, not to them but to the world. Now if you are a pre-tribulation rapture believer, you wont be on earth that day because you are supposed to be descending with Jesus from heaven but lets see what Paul says to them regarding that day, the Day of the Lord’s vengeance. “But you, believers, [all you who believe in Christ as Saviour and acknowledge Him as God’s Son] are not in spiritual darkness [nor held by its power], that the day [of judgment] would overtake you [by surprise] like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We do not belong to the night nor to darkness. God Will Not Afflict

Lamentations 3:33KJV For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men. When a person lacks an understanding of the character of God, he will accept certain wrong messages and doctrines, which just opens the door for the devil to destroy him There are Christians and even some Pastors who preach that God put sickness and afflictions on people to try and test them. The Bible says that woe is he that calls good “evil” and evil “good”. When a Christian doesn’t have his spiritual senses exercised to discern between good and evil, he is a babe. It doesn’t matter your title or what they call you. Scripture says that God does not afflict willingly. Its never God’s desire to afflict or try any Christian with afflictions or diseases. God doesn’t do that. In the Old Testament when such things came upon God’s covenant people, it was because they had gone astray and even in that He had to bear for such things to come upon them in the hope that they were going to repent “I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD...AMOS 4:10KJV” He says, “Yet have ye not returned unto me”. I allowed these to come upon you in the hope that you repent but yet have ye not returned unto me. It wasn’t my will and desire but yet have ye not returned unto me. Those who preaches that God put sickness and afflictions to try the Christian, ask them if they will try their children with cancer, tuberculosis, diabetes etc etc? Jesus said to the Jews, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him.... Matthew 7:11KJV” If even the evil knows that it is wrong to put sickness on his child, God knows better”. Its wrong and evil to refer satan’s work to God. Peter said, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.... God Needs Your Response

Psalm 27:8KJV When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek God needs your response, He needs a heart response. Man’s heart was created to respond to God’s Words. The solution to your problem is not to sorrow and murmur, the question is what has He said about you in such situations? Have you responded? What instruction did He give? Have you responded? All what faith is, is a heart response to what God has said. This is not a mental response, not a pretentious response but a heart response. If you couldn’t say in public what you said to God about the situation then your faith in that matter hasn’t arrived yet. Sometimes, there are people who think they are in faith when really they are not. When they are with God alone or even around those they deem spiritually matured, they will make the right statements of faith but when around carnal Christians or people of the world, they talk their fears. There is no problem with that, be yourself. Righteousness is about being yourself and not pretending. All that your heart is telling you is that your faith in that matter hasn’t yet arrived. You don’t have to feel bad about it, just give time to the word so to feed your faith. You can confess thousand times but if it didn’t come from a heart of faith, nothing will change. Its not about formula’s and methods. There are people who teach faith as formula’s and methods. It’s not supposed to be so. Such will fail when the storm intensifies. Faith is about being you because it is of the heart. Be yourself. When you are yourself and finds out that you are in fear or doubt, feed your faith.
