When dealing with being labeled remember what Mabel Simmons aka Madea once said “It doesn’t matter what they call you, it’s what you answer to that counts” This episode my friends and I take time to explore labels. We challenge each of you to T.H.I.N.K (listen to the podcast to find out) before you speak and continue to embrace your power, be fierce and unafraid to lead. These phenomenal and diverse women get straight to the point on the labels placed on women in the work place.  How to deal with those situations and gives some advice to the one who labels and the one who is being labeled.  You don't want to miss this.

*Pilot* Using your voice

Gloria gives her perspective on using your voice in the work place and the consequences of giving your voice to someone else. Reflection questions: 1. What Stops me from using my voice? 2. What stops me from stepping in when I see someone else not being able to use their voice? 3. Is the thing that is stopping me within my control? 4. Have I expressed to anyone the barriers I am facing? 5. How can I communicate effectively and still keep my peace at work? 6. Do I feel that if I step in, Will my relationship at work be negatively effected? 7. Do I let the behaviors of others dictate my actions? If so...why? 8. List 3 or more things that you possess (character traits) that are valuable to your organization.
