Living In The Future with Niall Murphy
Emil and I met in October during a discussion on longevity in Berlin. In this discussion we explore his work on human cryopreservation and the role the technology might play in helping people time travel to a future where critical ailments might have remedy. Futuristic stuff indeed, but this is actually happening. Emil and his colleagues already have a number of people in cryopreservation, and the European Biostasis Foundation in Switzerland he directs is very serious about its mission. Dr. Emil Kendziorra is a medical doctor by training and former cancer researcher. He spent the 10 years as a tech entrepreneur, with two successful exits. Now Emil leads Tomorrow Bio, a biostasis bio tech business, and a non-profit research institute in Switzerland called the European Biostasis Foundation focused on cryopreservation research. This is a public episode.
