We're officially halfway through 2026, and instead of setting new goals, I decided to look backward. I read all 44 podcast transcripts from the first half of the year expecting to find a list of accomplishments. Instead, I found a story. What started as a simple sleepover quickly spiraled into a full-blown Nana Summer Staycation Adventure Camp complete with opening ceremonies, scorecards, medals, Nana Bucks, a Nana Store, soccer competitions, water balloons, and one very overcommitted camp commissioner. In this episode, I'm sharing the story behind Camp Nana, what surprised me most about Ethan and Zeke, and the lessons I learned from spending two uninterrupted days together. We talk about competition, kindness, honesty, family traditions, and why the things kids remember are often very different from the things adults spend so much time worrying about.
