OVERZICHT Wat gebeurt er met je kijk op het leven als je dag en nacht zó dicht op het ontstaan van nieuw leven zit? We nemen je mee achter de schermen van het werk van een verloskundige: het leven “on call”, lange diensten en nooit helemaal weten hoe een dag (of nacht) zal verlopen. Carolien deelt hoe dit werk haar steeds opnieuw terugbrengt naar verwondering: hoe leven begint, hoe uniek ieder mens is, en hoe snel “normaal” buitengewoon wordt als je aanwezig bent bij het begin. OVERZICHT In deze aflevering ben ik samen met Linsy en Timo, die al drie jaar een onvoorstelbaar verhaal met zich meedragen. In 2022, tijdens wat het mooiste moment van hun leven had moeten zijn, werd hun zoon Djeko geboren en overleed tijdens de bevalling.
