Hope you like the new theme song!   "But there's gotta be a better way!" Before "As Seen On TV" became synonymous with new inventions, you had to see the new gizmos and gadgets at trade shows. Jay and Mitch watch trade show product pitches and discuss their merits or lack thereof. Before that dive, we state our real answers on last episode's food debates. We debut a brand new segment called "AI Heard That" where we try to separate the AI slop from the gold--this week: it's a "Star Wars" song and some OPM hits. And in "This, Ya Call News?", Jay has Sally Fields stories and Mitch has a Rodney Dangerfield list.

Food For Thought: Debate Game

"BILL STICKERS WILL BE PROSECUTED." "BILL STICKERS IS INNOCENT!" "YOU'RE OUT OF ORDER." "THIS WHOLE SYSTEM IS OUT OF ORDER!" We have good old fashioned debates about food related "hot button" issues according to the toss of a coin. Find out our actual takes on the mini-topics in the next episode. At "The Coffee Table", we have more of "the Darwin Awards" as well as a P.C. take on "Rumpelstiltskin". To close out the episode: Mitch goes to "Chuck E Cheese" and Jay has an acapella group fallout.

We Make An AI Song

"Ya like, jazz?" We have been running this show long enough to decide it's time for a new theme song. Through the power of AI, we see if our theme song makeover can rival the (debatably) great Randy Newman penned "It's A Jungle Out There". At "The Coffee Table", we explore more deaths in "The darwin Awards" and 2 retellings of "The Three Little Pigs". Wrapping up this episode, Mitch has nicotine and Jay has doggies in "This, Ya Call News?".

Back In My Day

"I'm tired of this, Grandpa--WELL, THAT'S TOO DAMN BAD!" Jay and Mitch reminisce about days gone by after they have a chat about recent life events. We unearth a not-yet-used recording of an "Unsolved Conspiracy" for a disappearing sub as well as not-yet-used ghost story at "The Coffee Table". We wrap it up with "This, Ya Call News?": Jay has "Coldplay Kiss Cam" returns and Mitch has a baseball(?) injury.

A Very Special Lumpia And Latkes

"For Oscar considerations...no not really" Sitcoms are meant for laughter and hijinks for entertainment and a break from reality, but then you get "the very special episodes"--you know the ones: the episodes that get "real" to make some sort of social commentary. This is our "Topic of the Week". At "The Coffee Table", we read more of "the darwin Awards" and a different take on "The Emperor's New Clothes". For "This, Ya Call News?", Mitch has an airport animal and Jay has a t-shirt.
