You are More than Enough to God

This week, Pastor AJ spoke on the truth that our value does not come from our performance, our past, or the opinions of others, but from the fact that we were created in the image of God. Even though sin separated us from a holy God, Scripture reminds us that every person carries inherent worth as an image bearer of God and is deeply loved by Him. Pastor AJ challenged us to consider the power of our words, reminding us that we cannot praise God while tearing down people He created in His likeness. Through the Gospel, we see that Jesus did not die for us once we became worthy, but while we were still sinners, proving how valuable we already were to Him. No matter what lies have been spoken over your life, your worth is not determined by others, but by the price Jesus paid for you on the cross. What Are You Known For?

This week, Pastor AJ challenged us with one important question: “What are you known for?” In 1 Corinthians 4, Paul says he wanted to be known as a faithful servant of Christ, seeking the approval of God over the approval of people. We were reminded that heroes of the faith are not defined by platform or recognition, but by obedience. Just like Edward Kimball’s simple faithfulness led to a ripple effect that impacted generations, our obedience to God can impact lives in ways we may never see. Colossians 4 - Go All In

In Epistle to the Colossians chapter 4, we were reminded that it starts with prayer, real and honest conversation that builds intimacy with our Father. As we grow closer to Him, it should shape how we live, using our time wisely and speaking with grace so others can see the gospel in us. We were also encouraged to center our lives on God’s Word, allowing it to transform us, not just inform us. Pastor John reminded us that we each have a calling and are called to faithfully walk in it, trusting God to guide us. Even in challenges, we can persevere through His grace. Colossians 3 - You're Already Dead, Live Like It.

This week, Pastor AJ spoke on what it means to live in light of our true identity in Christ. We were challenged with a bold truth: if we’ve been raised with Christ, then our old life is already dead and our lives should reflect that reality. Too often, our position is heaven, but our lifestyle still looks like earth. Pastor AJ reminded us that following Jesus means setting our minds on eternal things, not temporary ones, and daily choosing to put to death the patterns of our old self. In their place, we are called to put on compassion, kindness, humility, and love, living out the identity God has already given us. True life begins when we die to ourselves, and as we let the word of Christ dwell in us, it will naturally overflow into everything we do. Colossians 2 - Staying Rooted in Christ

This week, Pastor AJ walked through Colossians 2, showing us what it looks like to be rooted in Jesus and built up in Him. Following Christ isn’t just about a moment of faith, it’s about continuing in Him daily, allowing our lives to be shaped by His truth. When we’re not rooted in the right things, we can easily be led by what sounds good instead of what is true. But when our foundation is Jesus, we grow, stay steady, and develop a faith that lasts. Because of His finished work on the cross, we’ve been made alive in Him, fully forgiven, and no longer bound to our old life.
