Annual adult trip
Most couples wouldn’t take a $1,000 converted ambulance on a six-day trip, but we did, and it turned into exactly what we needed. Their journey had everything, a major breakdown in the middle of nowhere, sketchy tow situations, and last minute fixes with borrowed tools. Instead of falling apart, they leaned on each other, kept their sense of humor, and turned chaos into a story they’ll never forget. More than the mishaps, this trip was about reconnecting. They ditched the usual routine, avoided the busy highways, found hidden spots, and made the most of every mile even camping on the beach. The takeaway? Life doesn’t have to be perfectly planned to be meaningful. Sometimes the messy, unexpected moments are the ones that bring you closer and stick with you the longest. By the end of it all, they came home more connected, more grateful, and already planning the next adventure.

The Teenage Brain: Proceed With Caution
This episode of Mamas Got Something to Say is a little different my 16 year old son is joining me behind the mic. We’re talking about life from a teenager’s perspective: what they’re really thinking, what parents don’t understand, and what goes on inside that teenage brain that we’re all trying to figure out. From school and friendships to social media and growing up, we’re having an honest conversation about what it’s actually like being a teen today and what parents might be getting completely wrong. It’s funny, real, and maybe a little eye-opening. If you’ve got teenagers, used to be a teenager, or are currently confused by one… this episode is for you.
Confessions after dark
Y’all asked for it… and our listeners DELIVERED. Maybe all three. From secret relationships and petty revenge to jaw-dropping “did you really just admit that?” moments — this episode is raw, real, and absolutely not for the faint of heart. We touch on heavy topics, messy situations, and the kind of truths people only spill after dark. ⚠️ Disclaimer: This episode includes adult themes and sensitive subject matter. Listener discretion is advised. Pour yourself a drink, put the kids to bed, and lean in close… because Mama’s reading the receipts.
