Meditations With James Arheghan
You Are an Heir — But You Must Grow In today’s episode of Meditations, we reflect on Galatians 4:1: “Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all.” This powerful verse reminds us that inheritance is not only about possession — it is also about maturity. In Christ, we are children of God, heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ. Yet Paul teaches that as long as an heir remains a child, he may own everything by right but still live like a servant in experience. Many believers have an inheritance in Christ but must grow in wisdom, character, obedience, faith, and spiritual responsibility to walk in the fullness of it. God’s process of training, correction, patience, and development is not rejection — it is preparation. In this episode, Rev. James encourages us not to despise the process of growth. What God has prepared for you requires that He also prepares you for it. Key Thought:You are an heir, but maturity brings you into the full experience of your inheritance.
