Brennan Lee Mulligan and Aabria Iyengar discussed this on Dimension 20's Adventuring Academy and I am going to dive deeper into this topic. In this episode of Menagerie Chats we will explore physical dice. First, we test real coin flips v.s. imagined ones. Can you tell which is which? Randomness is not intuitive. Along the way, I share stories about my experience in a statistics class and my luck at a game night playing Yahtzee. I also connect the way dice work to chaos theory and the butterfly effect. Then we look into fair and unfair dice. I explore salt testing the dice, suggested by Aabria, and share my research into how casinos test their dice.
