Celebrating America's 250th: What It Means for Ohio | MFH Ep. 48

State Representatives Adam Holmes and Melanie Miller are joined by Todd Kleismit, Executive Director of the America 250-Ohio Commission, to discuss Ohio's role in the nation's 250th anniversary celebration in this episode of Message From the House. As the United States approaches its semiquarter-millennial, Ohio is positioning itself as a key part of the national commemoration. Representative Holmes serves as the Caucus' representative to the America 250-Ohio Commission, and Representative Miller chairs the Arts, Athletics and Tourism Committee. This episode also follows the House passage of HB 732, Rep. Miller's legislation creating the "Ohio, The Heart of It All Pass" — a first-of-its-kind tourism pass offering Ohio residents and visitors access to discounts and experiences at participating attractions statewide, launching free to Ohio residents in 2026.
