Descripción

This podcast is for the mission-driven entrepreneur, aspiring entrepreneur, and social enterprise enthusiast. Join me as I interview entrepreneurs from all over the world who are pursuing both profits and positive impact. For episode 8, we're joined by Florence Hardy [https://www.linkedin.com/in/florence-hardy-a2aba71/], CEO of truCrowd Illinois [https://il.trucrowd.com/%20]. Florence dives into how truCrowd [https://us.trucrowd.com/], a crowd-funding platform, makes investing into private businesses accessible to everybody. At the same time, it makes raising capital (debt or equity), easier for small businesses and startups. By "democratizing investing", truCrowd's platform challenges the traditional private equity investing model that had traditionally only been available to a small fraction of the population.
