This week we cover Labor day weekend events and talk a bit about the city of Vacaville plan review asking for $450,000 to pay an outside company to help with the back log of plans and inspections. And of course I give the latest housing number and mortgage rates. FOR BUILDING PLAN REVIEW AND BUILDING INSPECTION SERVICES; and RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE ADJUSTMENT TO THE 2023-24 FISCAL YEAR OPERATING BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $450,000 FOR THE CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH 4LEAF INC. FOR THE PURPOSE OF PLAN REVIEW AND BUILDING INSPECTION  (Staff contact: Joshua Montemayor, Community Development Assistant Director (707) 449-5361) Recommended Action: By simple motion, authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the First Amendment to the 2023-2024 Agreement for Consultant Services with 4LEAF Inc. and adopt the subject resolution. Fiscal Impact: Amount Requested: 450,000 Funding Source:  Community Development Department Fund (2022) Budget Distribution: If approved, the expense augmentation in the amount of $450,000 would be loaded to the department’s operating budget (2022.20.2003.331).
