today i talked about the importance of having high standards, and why there is never an excuse to lower them. for years we've seen people stay in toxic or abusive relationships because they believe that is the love they deserve, and that is wrong. regardless of who you are or what you've been through, you are worthy and capable of love. no matter what happens, just know you're not alone

high school relationships

today i rant about a topic that i have a lot to say about - high school relationships. after watching my friends experience their curiosities with love and commitment at such a young age, i've grown to have quite the opinion on this subject. in all honesty, they're not as great as everyone makes them seem. however, there definitely are some benefits to them as well. please remember that these are just my thoughts! if you disagree with what i have to say then i totally understand - everyone's experiences are different. no matter what happens, just know you're not alone.

being alone vs being lonely

today, we discuss the immense difference between feeling lonely and being alone. on one hand, you are physically separate from those you love and care for, even though they're still there for you. on the other hand, you have no support system and no matter who you're around you feel alone. both come with challenges and take courage, but I personally believe their meanings are completely different. no matter what happens, just know you're not alone.
