Descripción

Why is it that we can easily spot greed in others, yet remain almost entirely blind to its presence in our own hearts? In this week’s message, Lesley Nunes takes us into Luke 19:1–10 to explore the dramatic transformation of Zacchaeus. Looking at how money functions in our lives, Lesley highlights what Tim Keller famously described as "money sickness"—a subtle spiritual blindness that uses wealth to secure our significance and safety, ultimately trapping us in deep anxiety. Rather than leaving us stuck in this cycle, the passage reveals the ultimate cure. We see how an encounter with the radical grace of Jesus completely breaks the power of greed, freeing us to live a life of open-handed generosity. Psalms of Praise | Paul Kunert & Daniel Leeves

How does catching a glimpse of God's immense glory shift how we experience Him in our ordinary, everyday lives? In this week's tag-team message, Paul Kunert and Daniel Leeves take us into Psalm 96 to explore the expansive nature of biblical praise. Together, they guide us through three distinct imaginations of the text: first, looking at the words through the eyes of the original Old Testament author; second, observing Jesus with and in the Psalm; and third, discovering what it means for us to actively pray with Jesus today. We watch as the Psalm shifts its focus - starting with the absolute glory and majesty of God, before beautifully expanding outward to declare His praise across every single square inch of creation. Psalms – Poetry, Prayer and Purpose | Daniel Leeves

What are the Psalms all about? And how do we move them from ancient text on a page to something living in our hearts? As Eugene Peterson once famously noted, "We don't learn the Psalms until we are praying them." In this message, Dan opens our new series by exploring the very nature of the Psalms, unpacking what they are as poetry and prayer. And why they were given to us in the first place. To ground this purpose, he dives into the practical application of Psalm 1 & 2, aka the "Pre-Psalms". We look at the vital rhythm of meditating on God's Word daily so it shapes how we live right now, while also getting our first glimpse of the "Anointed King" of Psalm 2, a crucial character we will consistently bump into as we journey through the rest of the book. Rescued from being lost | Daniel Leeves

What does it actually mean to be lost? How does God welcome those who come back? In this week's message, Dan takes us into Luke 15 to explore one of the most famous stories Jesus ever told: the Parable of the Lost Son. Rather than just viewing it as a familiar story, Dan unpacks what the text reveals about human nature, the depth of our brokenness, and the nature of God’s heart toward us. But we don't just end when the runaway returns. The passage leaves us with an open-ended tensions and questions that forces us to look in the mirror and also ask: what happens next? Rescued from Death | Daniel Leeves

When someone makes a massive, world-altering claim about who they are, our natural reaction is simple: "Show me." In this week's message, Dan digs into John 11:17–44 to look at one of the most staggering statements in history - Jesus declaring, "I am the resurrection and the life." Dan breaks down what Jesus is actually claiming here, pulling back the layers of meaning that often get lost or hidden in our modern language and culture. Jesus doesn't just leave this as a profound theory; he backs it up by calling Lazarus out of a tomb, presenting a truth that ultimately leaves us with one unavoidable question: Do you believe this? We explore how this definitive moment demanded a response then, and how Jesus is still answering that "show me" question today, offering that same resurrection life to us right now.
