Some Problems with 'Complacency': 1. It is a surface level overgeneralization: If it explains everything then it really doesn't explain anything. 2. It focuses on the individual and misses the systemic influences for bad outcomes. 3. It frames undesirable outcomes as an individual moral choice. 4.
