Insights to Win: Inspiring Change at Work

Across public and private organizations, one thing that is certain, there will be a need for change to occur to win more, achieve efficiencies, and build effectiveness. 🖊️For the June 18, 2025 article in the Once Undesirable. Now Undeniable Newsletter and Podcast episode, I share key insights to win at inspiring change at work. My approach includes people versus excludes people. My approach adds instead of subtracts. Change is not easy, but how leaders communicate, show empathy, and coach, can make a huge difference with galvanizing support, adoption and engagement. 💡I discuss the importance of leaders ensuring their intent matches their impact as they cascade communications and seek to galvanize folks to adopt changes. 💡I discuss leaders need to execute an intentional omnichannel communication strategy (Social, Written, Verbal, Ask Me Anything Sessions (AMAs), Townhalls), Digital Visualization, Learning and Development and more) to inspire change at work, especially with the global workforce consisting of 5 generations currently: Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Gen X, Gen Y/Millennials, and Gen Z. 💡I discuss the importance of leaders to coach with a purpose, using emotional intelligence, to get to know their audience by asking questions such as - What does success look like for them? Then informing them what success looks like for the leader. Afterwards, directing the coaching conversation to agreement on common values, purpose, and goals in order to build a productive and collaborative relationship to drive for results. 💡I discuss the importance of asking for feedback, as a leader. Feedback is the breakfast of champions, as Rick Tate and Ken Blanchard has said. I share specific approaches people leaders and individual contributors can ask for feedback. From first hand application, these approaches will help leaders build their effectiveness and help individual contributors win and win BIG. This is a public episode.
