One Church, Blackburn
What if the place where you spend most of your waking hours, your job, is exactly where Jesus most wants to meet you? In part two of his message on disciple-making, Tim Horman opens up Jesus' Great Commission in Matthew 28 and asks a question the church rarely talks about: how do we connect the faith we experience on a Sunday to the ordinary work we do Monday to Friday? Drawing on Dallas Willard, Tim challenges us to stop living two separate lives and to see our everyday work, our homes and our friendships as the primary places where we learn to live as Jesus would. The pressure is off, because the same Jesus who holds all authority promises to be with us always.
