In a twist that surprising her she chose to go to West Point, where she played ball and trained to be a future Army leader. Due to sports injuries, Dionna wasn't physically able to serve. We talked about why she chose West Point, about what she learned from being a high performance team player and what all that prepared her for in a career immersed in data science and storytelling.

Jake Dunagan is the Director, Governance Futures Lab at Institute for the Future. He's holds a PhD in Futures Studies from the University of Hawaii where he studies with Jim Dater. Jake has been doing fascinating theoretical work and practical experiments in political futures, including, most lately running a model constitutional convention in Austin, Texas. Jake and I talk about his work and about what the governance of AI might look like if we build new models for participation.
