Out of the Dark
Welcome to our very first podcast episode! In this episode we give you a short, general introduction to Queer History in Austria and the specific court case that we will talk about in the next few episodes. The accused was the 35-year-old Hans M. who was being tried for homosexuality and fraud in Graz in 1949/50. We discuss the issue of only having sources that tell us the prosecution’s side of the story. CW: transphobia, homophobia, cisgenderism, heterosexism A special thanks to our dear friends Beni Klingler for lending us his voice and to Joel Laun for his help with sound engineering.
