Linda Kaoma is a poet, literary curator and spiritual practitioner based in Johannesburg, South Africa. She’s shared her work in numerous countries in Africa and Europe. She holds a Master’s Degree in Health Humanities from the University College of London; a path she pursued to explore the contribution and influence that the arts, including poetry, can have on biomedicine, clinical practice and the politics of healthcare. Today, she hosts poetry and journaling workshops, online and in-person, that hold an atmosphere of presence and reflection for those who join her. We discuss the transformative magic of connecting with nature, the influence of ancestors in our daily lives, and the healing power of poetry. Linda shares her truth through spoken word.
