E4 Life through her eyes: An interview with my daughter Jai
In this episode I sit down with my daughter and ask her how it is to live in this world as a young black woman. Growing up we didn't always agree on things and I wanted to get her perspective on sex, religion, education and how she achieves her goals. Also wanted to know how she is navigating her way through this obstacle called life.
E3 Where is it safe for a black woman? Who will protect us?
In this episode I start by remembering black women who lost their lives at the hand of a police officer. I touch on the hypersexualizing of our young black girls and sexy trafficking. I try to have a real conversation on how black woman work twice as hard and is still seen as unworthy and under valued. I touch on domestic violence and sexual abuse. It gets real towards the end. I hope you hang out with me until the end. ------------------------------------------ RATE, REVIEW AND SUBSCRIBE and DONATIONS are always welcomed
