Descripción

In 2 Kings 18–19, King Hezekiah faces overwhelming threats from the Assyrian army and must discern God’s will. The enemy tries to shake his faith—twisting God’s Word, offering false promises, and declaring God powerless. Yet Hezekiah shows us how to discover God’s direction: make Him the top priority, test every word against Scripture, and commit decisions to earnest prayer. God proves faithful, defeating the enemy and answering prayer. Like Jesus in Gethsemane, we are called to pray, “Not what I will, but what You will,” trusting that God’s will is always good and His Word always stands true.
