Descripción

This week I have worked more than usual shifts at the hospital. I thought the easiest way to share a valuable podcast would be to still record a 5 min episode rather than the usual length. Then I remembered the series I did last year that contains some of my most downloaded episodes. And since I don't believe anymore that things "take time," what a better way to share by example than to rerelease an episode. No recording at all this week, still share something I believe is highly valuable. One of the best ways to be productive in less time, and include rest, is to utilize your resources like I am now. This is the first episode of a series I shared last "Maycember" here on the podcast. Enjoy. SHOWNOTES: Let's talk meditation! I've been practicing for a little over 3 years. Sometimes more regularly, sometimes less. I find it very valuable, and yet I still find myself in seasons where I am going fewer and farther between and I crave a return to it. So I created something to share with you here where we can practice together. Today I talk some basics and we do a 2min meditation together, because 2min works and "counts"! Maybe you're learning about it and starting for the first time. Maybe you're like me and you've done it before, but a reset sounds great. Maybe you do it regularly, but doing it knowing others are doing it with you also sounds wonderful! No matter your story, you're invited. The "Pace Your Race" meditation series starts officially next week, there are more details at the end of this episode. I have found meditation to be one key ingredient to my ability to be less reactive in relationships, more aware of my emotions, and more thoughtful and self compassionate. Never 100% perfect, but a very noticeable difference in my life experience. I'm not promising a silver bullet, but I do believe in miracles and I think adding meditation and mindfulness to your self care and/or spiritual practices does lead to miracles. I hope you'll come along! Don't Rush to Rested: Another Way We Push ThroughWhy rest is a lifelong practice and how to let go of grind cultureSHOWNOTES I don’t know about you, but some types of rest leave me feeling more alive and some types of relaxation leave me feeling actually more depleted. I’ve been contemplating this and share my recent insights today that are helping me keep steering, unrushed and unpressured, in the direction of restorative rest again and again and again. It’s a lifelong practice. Are you in for that practice too? 2. 21 [Re-release] Pace Your Race: "I Receive, I Give" Meditation

This is one of my and my clients' favorite meditations. And one of the most popular podcast episodes from Season 1. For the woman who is in a season of giving and could use a few minutes to herself, to receive, let this be a nourishing pit-stop. I find a little goes a long way when you allow it to be enough for now. * Connect with Me on Instagram https://instagram.com/meaganhubbardcoaching [https://instagram.com/meaganhubbardcoaching] * DM or Email hello@meaganhubbard.com for details about the: Time Triage 30min free coaching call  or the Time Glow Up 6-week coaching experience  * Why I say “Eat lunch and make new mistakes.”Season 1 Episode 1 of Permission to Pause: “Eat Lunch and Make New Mistakes” The story behind the why [https://youtu.be/kD6G_yHBTa0?si=OKZMNwtSo-Lk-ujO]
