Due to "Let Them Play MN" Minnesota HS sports were able to continue during the pandemic. The very accomplished wrestler turned successful wrestling coach, Damion Hahn, and I sit down for an in-depth discussion on his life, wrestling career, and what drives him to be the great man that he is. Coach Hahn talks about his time coaching at Cornell and the bold move his family made to come to South Dakota. He's excited about pursuing his dream to build a program that will compete among the best in the country. Although Damion is a humble guy, and not out to flaunt his accomplishments, I'll show you some of his impressive wrestling accolades: 2x NCAA Division 1 National Champion 2x NCAA Division 1 National Team Champion (MN Golden Gophers) 3x Big Ten Champion 4x NCAA Division 1 All-American And much, much more.... And honestly... those accomplishments are probably the LEAST interesting things about Damion, and who he is as a person. He's truly a genuine guy with a heart for his student-athletes. A complete man of his word. Wrestling parents that have sons talented enough to compete at this level, you'd be greatly privileged to have this role-model mentor your sons.
